We are thrilled with the new school-- it is a beautiful facility and the technology and positive energy I've felt from the administrators, staff, teachers and students is just fantastic! Congratulations to the student and great-grandfather who participated in the Ribbon Cutting, along with members of the School Board!
It's rare that we get to start something completely new, fully grandiose and 100% of our own making in this life, so let's make this school what we've always wished we could have had as a kid-- and what we've always wanted for our children.
It's up to us in this first year to create the school character, culture and atmosphere. And each person who enters the school contributes, knowingly or not: bringing a contagious spirit of excitement, creativity, cooperation and discovery; or an attitude of negativity. Let's all be conscious of what we are contributing to the new school and make it our very best! We ask the best of our students, so let all of us, as parents, give our best and be our best when we walk in the doors of Mountain Valley Elementary.
