FALL CARNIVAL WAS A WILD SUCCESS!
Thanks to each of you for making your PTO Fall Carnival a Massive Mustang blast! A HUGE Mustang Thank You goes out to our fantastic committee: Amber Mahoney, Tina Bierway and Jen Dawson. And thank you to all who helped coordinate and carry out the event, and of course to all the students, families, staff , teachers & community members/businesses who donated & participated. We’ll report the proceeds that will benefit the PTO and also the teachers in our December PTO Meeting, and we’re already excited for next year’s carnival! Comments, suggestions and of course, accolades to our awesome committee, are welcome at the PTO gmail. J We truly appreciate the support and help of all our Mustang Community. THANK YOU!!
WENDY’S NIGHT: WEDNESDAY , NOV. 17, 5:00 – 8:00 pm - HITT RD.
Your PTO is delighted to continue our tradition of each month enjoying a different restaurant’s support!
Wednesday, November 17 will be Wendy’s Night! Ten percent of all proceeds from the entire restaurant from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm will be donated to MV PTO! That’s right— 10% of all sales during those three hours will be donated to us! Awesome!!
How It Works:
Ø No coupon or form is needed! Simply invite all your family, friends, co-workers, groups and clubs to head over to Hitt Road south of Sunnyside to enjoy a delicious meal at Wendy’s that night.
Ø This is only from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, not all day long, so breakfast or lunch won’t count — only dinner will count.
Ø This will be for the Hitt Road Wendy’s ONLY, for one night ONLY.
Ø The great news is that if we bring in over $1500 in sales during those three hours, MV PTO will receive 15% !
So, mark your calendars for Wed. evening, Nov. 17 to enjoy dinner at Wendy’s with all your classmates & teachers! See you there!
HOMEWORK CLUB: TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS AFTER SCHOOL
Mrs. Debbie Chambers has kindly offered to coordinate a Homework Club to be held Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. For thirty to forty-five minutes after school on those days, all students are welcome to come do their homework in Ms. Galyean’s 6th Grade classroom. Students will enjoy doing their best work in an environment conducive to concentration and free of distraction.
The following help is needed:
· 1 adult to help the children on Tuesday afternoons
· 2 adults to help the children on Thursday afternoons
· Donations of school supplies: 2 packages of crayons, 2 packages of colored pencils, glue, glue sticks
· Donations of healthy snacks: pretzels, crackers, etc.
